For schools & districts
Built for the people running the morning.
NextStop replaces the call tree, the spreadsheet of routes, and the hand-held radio — with a single dashboard your front office already wants to leave open. Same software for one elementary or forty buildings.
01 — What schools see in 30 days
73%
Fewer “where’s the bus?” phone calls to the front office, week 4 vs. baseline.
11min
Average reduction in time-to-resolution on bus complaints — from a 4-person chain to one screen.
97.4%
On-time rate across pilot routes. Before NextStop, schools couldn’t measure this.
$0
What it costs your district to run a pilot through the 2026–27 school year. Read the pilot terms below.
02 — District-grade by default
One contract, forty schools, one dashboard.
Districts get a tenant model that mirrors how your buildings actually work — not how the software wishes they did.
Multi-school admin
Per-school staff, per-school routes, per-school branding. District-wide reporting on top.
SSO — SAML & Google Workspace
Staff log in with district credentials. Parents log in with the email on file at school. SCIM for provisioning.
White-label
Your colors, your logo, your domain on the parent and dashboard apps. We don’t put our name in front of families if you don’t want us to.
SIS integration
Direct connectors for PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Skyward, and Aeries. Nightly roster sync.

District report03 — Implementation
Four weeks. Yes, really.
Most pilot schools go live before their fourth Monday. Here’s the timeline we’ve run twelve times now.
- Week 1
Discovery & data prep.
A 60-minute kickoff with your transportation lead. We map your routes, drivers, vehicles, and SIS to NextStop’s data model. You don’t fill in spreadsheets — we read your exports.
- Week 2
Staff onboarding.
Front-office admins and dispatchers get one 45-minute training. Drivers get the app pre-configured with their routes; first run is supervised.
- Week 3
Driver shadowing.
Drivers run their normal routes with the app on for a week. We tune ETAs, fix any stop ordering, and validate the roster. Parents still don’t see anything yet.
- Week 4
Go live to parents.
A school-branded email invites parents to download the app. Within 72 hours, >85% of households are active. The phone in the front office stops ringing the same week.
04 — Procurement
Built to fit how districts actually buy software.
We’ve done procurement with twelve districts. We know what your purchasing department needs before they ask.
Master Service Agreement
Standard MSA covering K–12 use cases, FERPA, and indemnification. Redlines accepted; usually closed in 2–3 rounds.
Data Privacy Agreement
We sign the SDPC National DPA out of the box. State-specific addenda (CA, NY, IL, TX) supported.
Insurance & indemnification
$5M general liability · $5M cyber liability · $2M E&O. COIs available within 24 hours.
Cooperative purchasing
Available on TIPS-USA and Sourcewell contracts — skip the RFP if you prefer.
Net-60 invoicing
PO or credit card. Annual or fiscal-year billing aligned to your calendar.
Pricing & tiers
Per-bus-per-year, with district volume discounts. See pricing.
05 — Pilot program
Run a free pilot through the 2026–27 year.
We’re onboarding ten more pilot schools this fall. You get the full product — not a feature-limited trial — for the school year, at no cost. Keep what works. Walk away if it doesn’t.
- Full product. Parent apps, driver apps, dashboard, white-label, SSO. Nothing held back.
- No card on file. Sign a one-page pilot agreement instead.
- Up to 1,500 students. Larger pilots are sized case-by-case.
- A 30-minute monthly check-inwith our team. That’s the only obligation.
